  • last night:  We saw the eclipse!  A few clouds, but they were whispy enough where it counted, and we got a good look at the moon -- a great view from our back porch.  The girls were so excited, they didn't even seem to mind the cold.  Bri even took a few pictures -- none of them worth sharing, as I know there will be plenty of beautiful photos available online, but they satisfy our need to say "we were there, we saw this:"

  • In jazz time:  ♫ Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow... ♫

  • Wednesday: Snow melted.  Mari got the cars started and moved the Sienna while the snow was gone.  Now we can shovel and plow and walk on the regular path.

Thursday:  Boys alphabets.  Happily Never After.

Friday:  Finished all my Christmas gifts and crammed them into the box for shipping.  They're not the most luxuriously wrapped gifts (white space being the measure of elegance and all), but if you could see how I fit gifts for Steph, Mad, Aub, Reagan, Mom, Gramma, Ang, Nic and Riss into the little CBD box that Mari's math books came in, I'd win some sort of frugal shipping award.

Logan is sick again.  Again.  Not the same sick that we had earlier this week.  He was fine on Tues, Wed, Thurs, now he's vomiting and diarrhea again.  Popsicles for him.

  • We are surrounded by snowflakes, but Logan loves making them.  As long as someone will fold the paper for him, he's happy to cut snowflakes all day:

    Saturday: Huertas.  Snow storm.  Home.
Sunday: Church.  Ronningens.  Potluck.  Gingerbread contest.  Choir.

  • Wilson, with his hands full of flashcards, "Mom, will you shovel these for me?"

  • Saturday:  ?
Sunday:  Bri, Mari, and I went to town.  Bri was singing jingles in the car.  Oh, and those homeless people that weren't really homeless people.
Monday:  Mosquedas came over.  I remember this because it meant Kirby missed out on Monday Night Football.
Tuesday:  Watched Stone of Destiny.  When her siblings didn't get it, Bri said, "Guys, that would be like somebody stealing the Statue of Liberty."
Wednesday:  Mari's math book arrived.  Zumba at Lori's in laws, choir practice.  Shrek 4.
