  • The girls got the horses, halters, blankets out all by themselves:
    Mari and Myra on Tamarack

Bri used the trampoline for a boost.  Fir doesn't mind at all that Kendric is hootin' and hollerin' all over the place:
Fir, Bri, Kendric deja vu the grass is greener in the yard Bri, trying to get back on the horse (at this point, I couldn't help but giggle -- she tried everything to get back up there, and couldn't see that she wasn't going to make it alone) Myra gives her a boost ahh, back in the not-a-saddle again Myra Jayne
(See what I mean, Katrina?  Docile horses.)

  • Fun! Hot dogs, ya I know the feeling, I am still waiting to hear what you guys are doing with the popcorn!!!

  • I love Myra's face expresions. That girl is expressive! Docile yes, but those horses have the proverbial heart of something really strong but not hard or mean... hot dogs- I am still sick of them from when I was a kid.

  • Love the flower! So nice to have horses you can trust with the kids (even in spring after not much riding!). Yum, hot dogs and marshmallows!

  • Those horses are great with the children. We had a horse named Cookie when I grew up that was great with children too. If any of us fell off, she would immediately stop and wait for us to get back on.

  • Fun pictures. They look like they are having a blast. Love the waving one of Myra. She is too cute.

  • It does our hearts good to see all those Gilge children free and enjoying the great outdoors. California was worth it just for the fact it will always make you extremely grateful to live in the country again. Those are some great horses!!!!
